Rose McGowan is a girl who knows what she wants. Though she has only been engaged since July, she's already a married woman! The 40-year-old actress tied the knot with fiancé Davey Detail in Los Angeles on Saturday, her publicist confirmed.
The former "Charmed" enchantress, swathed in a Monique Lhuillier gown and clutching a bouquet of pink flowers, exchanged vows with her artist honey in what one onlooker described as a "romantic and ethereal" outdoor ceremony, per People. The ceremony, held at the Paramour Mansion in L.A.'s Silverlake district, was officiated by a rabbi and performed under a chuppah.
Earlier, McGowan marked the occasion with an Instagram photo simply captioned "Today" and revealing her song choice as Florence + the Machine's "Spectrum," which features the refrain "Say my name/and every color it illuminates/and we are shining/and we'll never be afraid again."
About 60 friends and family members were on hand to celebrate the union.
It was no surprise the guest list was rather short. Earlier this fall, Rose explained, "I have eight brothers and sisters and a massive family. That takes care of it. That's everybody. That's it."
But even though it was an intimate gathering (by Hollywood standards at least), that doesn't mean they didn't party. The reception featured a brass swing band from New Orleans. "I found them on the street," the bride revealed.
Reportedly, the newlyweds will travel to Tahiti for their honeymoon — a destination to which the actress has always wanted to go, but has never been. But that's not the only "first" for the blushing bride.
While McGowan has been engaged two times before (to rocker Marilyn Manson and "Machete Kills" director Robert Rodriguez), she has never made it all the way down the aisle, making this her first actual marriage. "He's magic," she has said.
It certainly seems that way.
